Register of contributions and expenses
Here we show every payment into the foundation's account and every expense, with a date, an amount and a short description. For expenses we add what the money went to and why it was needed. We keep the register as up to date as possible.
Entries#
| Date | Type | Amount | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| 31 Oct 2026 | donation outside the account | EUR 84.87 | The founder privately paid the foundation's hosting invoice (row below) and gave it as a donation for statutory purposes |
| 31 Oct 2026 | expense | EUR 84.87 | Hosting of the novusignis.org website for one year, until 30 Oct 2027 (Infomaniak, invoice 8499471: EUR 69.00 plus EUR 15.87 VAT). The free plan had 10 MB and provided no server logs for statistics. Paid with the founder's donation in the row above |
| 31 Oct 2026 | contribution | PLN 1,000.00 | Founding fund contributed by the founder (§ 9(1) of the statute) |
| 3 Aug 2026 | before the foundation existed | EUR 22.64 | The domains novusignis.org and suveria.org for one year, until 2 Aug 2027 (Infomaniak, invoice 8092617: EUR 18.40 plus EUR 4.24 VAT). The founder paid privately the day before the notarial deed establishing the foundation, so this is not an expense of the foundation. We show it because the foundation uses these domains |
Dates are given by the day of the transfer or payment. When someone pays an expense of the foundation directly instead of transferring money to its account, we show it in two rows: as a donation and as an expense.
How to read this register#
- We name donors only if they themselves wish it; other payments are described in general terms, for example "donation from a private person".
- We do not publish payment references verbatim, because they often contain personal data; we write the description of each entry ourselves.
- The register lets anyone follow the foundation's finances, but it does not replace the accounting books or the financial statements. We correct a wrong entry openly.
- Costs from before the foundation's account was opened were covered privately by the founder, so they are neither contributions nor expenses of the foundation. Those the foundation uses, such as the domains, are shown in the register as “before the foundation existed”.
- For now the founder keeps the accounts free of charge, which is why the register shows no expenses for an accounting office.
How we want to divide money according to whom it belongs to and what it is for is explained on the foundation's money page. How to make a donation is described on the Support the foundation page. More: foundation principles whitepaper, chapter 4.
